October 23 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian pawnshop chain operator Sofia Commerce-Pawn Brokerage [BUL:6SOB] said on Wednesday that it has decreased its registered capital by 8.75% to some 2.37 million levs ($1.4 million/1.2 million euro).
The company cancelled 227,685 own shares with a nominal value of 1 lev each, which it had previously repurchased, Sofia Commerce-Pawn Brokerage said in a bourse filing.
The purpose of the capital decrease is to optimise the company's capital structure.
Sofia Commerce-Pawn Brokerage's capital is divided into 2,172,315 ordinary shares and 201,154 preference shares.
As at 12:25 CET on Wednesday, Sofia Commerce-Pawn Brokerage ordinary shares traded 0.95% higher at 5.30 levs, while preference shares traded 3.17% lower at 6.10 levs.
