December 3 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian producer and distributor of organic products Smart Organic [BUL:SO] made its debut on the SME growth market BEAM of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE), the bourse said on Friday.
"We welcome Smart Organic, which is the first established representative of the biofoods sector on the BEAM market," Manyu Moravenov, BSE's executive director, said. "Thus, the growth market turns into a steppingstone for a European and world expansion of the ambitious, dynamic Bulgarian companies."

As at 11:35 CET on Friday, shares in Smart Organic traded at 18.90 levs, bourse data showed.
Last month, Smart Organic raised almost 5.9 million levs in an initial public offering (IPO) on the BEAM market which was oversubscribed almost twice. Investors subscribed and paid for a total of 310,000 company shares with a nominal value of 1 lev and an issue price of 18.90 levs each.
