November 24 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian organic products maker and distributor Smart Organic [BUL:SO] said on Thursday that it inaugurated a new building at its site in Sofia, expecting to cut annual costs by 500,000 levs ($266,215/255,646 euro) by using own warehousing capacity in the place of rented premises.
The new building has a solar park with peak capacity of 330 KW, Smart Organic said in a press release.
The building spreads on an area of 5,000 square metres, housing a warehouse, a manufacturing unit, a laboratory and an office area.
Smart Organic said that it is currently in the process of designing its third factory in Bozhurishte industrial area near Sofia. Construction is expected to begin in the first half of 2023.
