June 30 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian software developer Sirma Group Holding [BUL:SKK] said on Friday it is shifting its attention from digitalization of companies towards utilizing cognitive software solutions for transformation of enterprises in order to boost their efficiency and competitiveness.
"The efforts of the companies within Sirma Group are focused on the most prospective segments within ICT – enterprise software and IT services," the company said in a statement after presenting its renovated strategy to its leading shareholders.
On June 15 the updated strategy was submitted and approved by the general shareholders assembly of Sirma Group Holding.
"The focus of Sirma is on niches of small and medium enterprises within the spheres of specialization of the group, which
lag behind from the trend for utilizing of technologies based on artificial intelligence," the company added.
Sirma Group plans to focus on resolving two main problems - the exponential growth of data and the necessity for flexible and adaptive processes for all enterprises.
The execution of the upgraded strategy will start on July 1.
Sirma Group shares were trading 3.70% lower at 1.040 levs by 14:20 CET on Friday on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange.
