September 13 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer Sin Cars Industry [BUL:SIN] said on Tuesday that it has clinched its first direct supply contact with a European manufacturer in the form of a partnership agreement with Greek waste management vehicles maker RAM Europe.
Under the contract, RAM Europe will be the official distributor of Sin Cars' L CITY model electric vehicles in Greece and Cyprus, the Bulgarian company said in a stock exchange filing.
The distribution will focus on municipalities and companies active in waste collection, in particular in Greek islands. The parties also signed a contract for the delivery of one L CITY open body pick-up vehicle in November.
RAM Europe, which has been operating in the solid waste collection and environmental management sectors since 1988, claims to be the largest waste treatment and waste cleaning machinery and equipment manufacturer in the Balkans.
The announcement comes after Sin Cars last week launched a production line for electric cars in its home city of Ruse and said it plans to expand production across the border to Romania.
Sin Cars has other agreements in place in the Netherlands and Germany, bringing to 10 its orders of L City vehicles to be delivered before the end of 2022 at the latest.
