November 24 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's Power Distribution North, a unit of Czech power utility Energo-Pro, said on Tuesday that it has awarded a 6 million levs ($3.6 million/3.1 million euro) utility pole supply deal to local company Simat.
The deal was signed on November 17 following a tender which attracted two offers, Power Distribution North said in a notice to the public procurement agency.
The contract envisages the supply of some 15,940 utility poles.
Power Distribution North operates 26 power substations and power lines with a total length of over 43,000 km over a territory of nearly 30,000 sq m in northeastern Bulgaria.
