SOFIA (Bulgaira), May 19 (SeeNews) – Bulgarian insurance company Saglasie has filed for regulatory approval to acquire 100% of Sofia-based Tokuda Health Insurance, the country’s financial authority said.
The regulator has sent a letter to Saglasie, asking the company to remove deficiencies from the documents presented with regard to the offer, the Financial Supervision Commission said in a statement late on Thursday.

The deadline for the regulator to issue a decision is June 27, it said.
Tokuda Health Insurance is a wholly owned subsidiary of Japan’s Tokushukai. The company has a registered capital of 4.6 million levs ($2.6 million/2.3 million euro), according to the country’s commercial register.
