October 11 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's Public Transport Ruse said on Friday that it has launched a tender for awarding contracts for supply of 20 new electric buses and charging stations for them, as well as 15 new trolleybuses, worth an estimated total of 36.3 million levs ($20.4 million/18.6 million euro).
The e-bus supply contract is expected to be worth some 22 million levs, while the trolleybuses supply contract is seen at some 14.3 million levs, the public transport company servicing the city of Ruse said in a tender notice.
The project will benefit from EU funding under Operational Programme Environment 2014-2020.
The deadline for submitting offers is November 15.
Bids will be ranked based on price, with 40% weight, warranty conditions with 25% weight, and power consumption.
