September 16 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's Ruse municipality said that it awarded two local tie-ups and one company with framework deals for the delivery of different types of construction materials worth a total of 5 million levs ($3.0 million/2.6 million euro).
The higher-priced contract, worth nearly 4.3 million levs, was signed with a consortium comprising local construction companies Patengineering, Hidrostroy and Patno Poddarzhane-Sliven, the municipality said in a notice published earlier this week. It envisages the supply of asphalt mixtures and bituminous products.
The municipality also signed a 526,400 levs contract for the delivery of rock fractions with Build Rent BG and a 214,200 levs deal for the supply of paints, primers and varnishes with a consortium comprising Engineering Consult, Smart Business Company and Megachim.
All contracts were signed on September 1.
The tender for awarding the higher-priced contract attracted offers from four candidates. The bids were ranked solely based on price.
