January 24 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian manufacturer of PVC and aluminium windows, doors and shutters Rollplast is investing 12 million levs ($6.7 million/6.1 million euro) in new equipment in its production plant in Kostinbrod, the economy ministry said.
Rollplast is investing in new machinery and technical solutions, the economy ministry said in a press release last week. Over the past ten years, the company has concentrated its production operations in Kostinbrod region, near Sofia.
Founded in 2000, Rollplast is among the leading manufacturers of PVC and aluminium doors, windows and shutters in Europe. The company has offices in Albania, Greece, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Serbia and is also a global exporter.
Kostinbrod is attracting a total new investment of over 70 million levs, including a investment by Bulgarian confectionery maker Interion, whose Greek parent company will move all of its production operations to Bulgaria, the economy ministry added.
