September 2 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian diversified group Rodna Zemya Holding [BUL:6R2] said on Monday it has successfully completed the acquisition of 100% of Sofia-based fast-moving consumer goods retailer HIT Hypermarket.
The transaction between Rodna Zemya Holding and HIT Hypermarket's previous owner, Germany-based HIT Bulgarien GmbH, was completed on Monday following the approval of Bulgaria's Commission for Protection of Competition, Rodna Zemya Holding said in a bourse filing.

The value of the deal was not disclosed.
HIT Hypermarket's capital is divided into 221,000 shares of 100 levs in par value each ($56.1/51.1 euro).
HIT entered the Bulgarian market in 2004. It operates two stores in Sofia, offering a wide variety of food and non-food products.
Rodna Zemya Holding's shares last traded on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange on Friday when they closed unchanged at 2 levs apiece.
Last month, Rodna Zemya Holding said it has successfully completed a 36 million levs capital increase by issuing 20 million new shares at a price of 1.8 levs each.
