February 4 (SeeNews) - The number of residential building permits issued in Bulgaria in the fourth quarter of 2019 rose by 2.4% year-on-year to 1,512, the country's statistical office, NSI, said on Tuesday.
Compared to the third quarter, the number of residential building permits issued in the October-December period fell by 7.2%, the NSI said in a statement.
A total of 21 permits for construction of administrative buildings were issued in the fourth quarter, down 36.4% compared to the same period of 2018. Compared to the previous quarter, construction permits for administrative buildings decreased by 8.7%.
Regarding other types of buildings, a total of 1,103 permits were issued in the quarter under review - a decrease of 16.4% year-on-year and 7.2% quarter-on-quarter.
