February 3 (SeeNews) - The number of residential building permits issued in Bulgaria in the last quarter of 2022 inched up by 0.1% year-on-year, reaching 1,911, the statistical office said on Friday.
On a quarterly comparison basis, however, the number of residential building permits dropped by 11.5%, the National Statistical Institute (NSI) said in a statement.
A total of 18 permits for the construction of office buildings were issued in the fourth quarter, a decline of 45.5% on the year. In contrast, the number was 28.6% higher than in the third quarter.
In terms of other types of buildings, a total of 1,183 permits were issued in the October-December period, which represents an annual rise of 1.0%. The number of issued permits was 2.5% lower compared to the third quarter of 2022.
