April 22 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's National Railway Infrastructure Company (NRIC) said that it launched a 5.9 million levs ($3.6 million/3 million euro) tender for the design and implementation of a train operations management system.
The project benefits from financing under EU's operational programme Transport and Transport Infrastructure 2014-2020, the NRIC said in a tender notice on Wednesday.
The tender, which is divided into two lots, also envisages trial of the management system after its implementation, as well as staff training.
Candidates have until May 20 to submit their offers. Price will carry a 60% weight in the overall ranking of the bids for the first lot, regarding the design and implementation part of the project, while offers for the second lot, which includes monitoring and control activities during the execution of the contract, will be ranked solely based on price.
