SOFIA (Bulgaria), October 20 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's National Railway Infrastructure Company (NRIC) said that it launched a tender worth an estimated 9.5 million levs ($5.7 million/4.9 million euro) for the construction of Ruse traction substation.

The project will benefit from EU funding under operational programme Transport and Transport Infrastructure 2014-2020, NRIC said in a tender notice on Tuesday.

The deal also envisages the integration of the traction substation to the existing SCADA control system and its maintenance for a ten-year period, the tender notice read.

The deadline for submitting offers is December 20. Price will carry 70% weight in the overall ranking of the bids.
