December 6 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian state-owned National Railway Infrastructure Company (NRIC) said on Friday that it has signed an 8.9 million levs ($5 million/4.6 million euro) railway upgrade contract with a tie-up comprising local PST Group, PST Sofia and Start-Engineering.
According to registry agency data, PST Group owns 58% interest in the tie-up, while its unit PST Sofia controls 12%.
The contract envisages the upgrade of a 5.3-km railway section linking the villages of Prilep and Vedrovo, in eastern Bulgaria, NRIC said in a notice.
The contract was inked on November 8.
The tender for awarding the contract attracted offers from six bidders.
