September 30 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's producer price deflation softened to 2.7% year-on-year in August from 4.3% the month before, data from the National Statistics Institute (NSI) showed on Friday.
On a monthly comparison basis, producer prices fell 0.3% last month after edging down 0.2% in July, the data indicated.
Domestic market producer prices fell 2.7% on the year and were 0.2% lower on the month.
Foreign market producer prices dropped 2.8% on the year and decreased 0.7% on the month.
