October 30 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's producer price index (PPI) rose 5.7% year-on-year in September, after increasing by an annual 5.8% in August, the National Statistical Institute (NSI) said on Monday.
On a monthly comparison basis, producer prices grew 0.5% in September, after rising 0.7% in August, the NSI said in a monthly report on producer prices in industry.
The PPI on the domestic market climbed 6.0% on the year and was 0.3% higher on the month in September. The PPI on the international market rose 5.3% on the year and was 0.8% higher than the value recorded the month before.
