September 29 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's producer price index (PPI) rose 5.8% year-on-year in August, after increasing by an annual 4.7% in July, the National Statistical Institute (NSI) said on Friday.
On a monthly comparison basis, producer prices increased by 0.7% in August, after rising by 1.3% in July, the NSI said in a monthly report on producer prices in industry.
The PPI on the domestic market added 5.9% on the year and was 0.4% higher on the month in August. The PPI on the international market rose 5.5% on the year and was 1.2% higher than the value recorded the month before.
