January 2 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's Power Distribution South, part of Austrian energy group EVN, said on Thursday that it has signed a 10.6 million levs ($6.1 million/5.4 million euro) contract with ADD-Bulgaria for power equipment supply.
The deal was signed on December 6, Power Distribution South said in a notice.
The contract envisages the delivery of various types of power meters, data concentrators and noise filters - components of a S-FSK system for distance metering.
ADD-Bulgaria submitted the sole offer in the public procurement procedure for the contract.
Plovdiv-based ADD-Bulgaria, established in 2006, offers working solutions for remote data transfer, analysis of information and management of connected devices. The company has its own production plant for manufacturing of smart metering devices, intelligent street lighting and infrastructure monitoring systems, according to information published on its website.
