December 10 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's Power Distribution South, part of Austrian energy group EVN, said that it has signed two contracts for the purchase of power transformers, worth a total of 6.2 million levs ($3.5 million/3.2 million euro), VAT excluded.
The larger contract, worth 3.2 million levs, was awarded to local Lemi-Trafo, while the 3 million levs deal was signed with Elprom-Trafo CH, Power Distribution South said in a notice.
The procedures for awarding the two contracts attracted five bids each.
The two deal with Lemi-Trafo was signed on November 28, while the contract with Elprom-Trafo CH was inked on December 3.
Power Distribution South operates the power grid in southeastern Bulgaria.
