November 6 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian power utility Power Distribution South, part of Austrian energy group EVN, said on Wednesday that it has signed a 2.6 million levs ($1.5 million/1.3 million euro) deal with local Simat for the purchase of utility poles.
Simat submitted the sole bid in the procedure for awarding the contract, Power Distribution South said in a notice.
The contract was signed on October 22.
Power Distribution South operates the power grid in southeastern Bulgaria.
