SOFIA (Bulgaria), January 27 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's Power Distribution North, a unit of Czech power utility Energo-Pro, said on Monday that it has launched a tender for awarding four-year contracts for supply of power meters, worth an estimated total of 10.8 million levs ($6.1 million/5.5 million euro).
The tender is dividend into seven lots envisaging the supply of various kinds of power meters, the company said in a tender notice.
The total number of power meters to be supplied under all seven contracts is 215,120.
The deadline for submitting expressions of interest is March 6. Selected candidates are expected to be invited to submit bids on April 6.
Bids will be ranked based on price, with 90% weight in the mark, and time for delivery.
Power Distribution North operates power lines with a total length of some 42,000 km over a territory of nearly 30,000 sq m in northeastern Bulgaria.
