April 23 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria had a government debt-to-GDP ratio of 20.4% at the end of 2019, the second-lowest in the European Union, after Estonia, the bloc's statistical office Eurostat said.
Romania's debt-to-GDP ratio of 35.2% was the seventh-lowest among 27 EU member states at the end of December, Eurostat said in a statement on Wednesday.
Among EU-27 Greece posted the highest government debt-to-GDP ratio of 176.6%.
