April 13 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian outsourcing company Pontica Solutions said that it plans to increase the number of employees and open a new office in 2020, despite economic difficulties arising from the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic.
Pontica Solutions sees the COVID-19 crisis as a source of growth opportunities, it said in a press release last week.
"During the past month we added two international projects to our portfolio," Pontica Solutions said, noting that it has also recorded a 40% rise in the number of employees over the past two months.
New employees are being hired and trained by teleworking methods, due to the restrictions on movement imposed by authorities over the pandemic, the company said.
Bulgaria is in two-month state of emergency over the COVID-19 outbreak until May 13.
Sofia-based Pontica Solutions, founded in 2015, is a business process outsourcing (BPO) and information technology outsourcing (ITO) provider partnering with companies in the fields of technology, gaming, e-commerce, and retail, according to information published on its LinkedIn profile.
