April 19 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian water utility company ViK Plovdiv said on Monday that it has signed two infrastructure reconstruction agreements worth a total of 83.9 million levs ($51.6 million/42.9 million euro).
The larger deal, worth 81.5 million levs, concerns the reconstruction of water supply and sewage infrastructure in the city of Plovdiv, ViK Plovdiv said in a notice to the public procurement agency.
The contract was signed on March 31 with a tie-up between local Interhold, TES Construction Group and ViK Infrastructure Design. The tender for the deal attracted five offers.
According to registry agency data, Interhold owns 50% interest in the tie-up, TES Construction Group holds 48%, and ViK Infrastructure Design has 2%.
The second contract, worth 2.4 million levs, envisages the reconstruction of the water supply network of the town of Karlovo. The contract was signed on April 2 following a tender which attracted six offers. The deal was won by a tie-up between Bosstore and Aldi Commerce Group.
Aldi Commerce Group owns 75% interest in the tie-up, according to registry agency data.
Both projects benefit from EU funding under operational programme Environment 2014-2020.
