December 2 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's Pleven municipality said on Thursday it has signed a 5.2 million levs ($3.0 million/2.7 million euro) contract for the supply and installation of street lights with Sofia-based company Ulichno Osvetlenie.
The deal was signed on December 2, 2019, the municipality said in a notice.
Under the terms of the contract, Ulichno Osvetlenie will be responsible for the delivery and installation of 7,260 energy-efficient LED street lights, the implementation of smart street lighting management system, the repair of 430 electricity boxes as well as for the supply and installation of steel street light poles and other relevant equipment within a period of 120 months.
Pleven municipality has received three bids in the public procurement procedure for awarding the contract.
Bids were ranked based on price and quality criteria carrying equal weights.
Ulichno Osvetlenie manages and maintains the street lighting on the territory of Sofia municipality and neighbouring municipalities.
