December 17 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian pharmaceuticals trader Phoenix Pharma, part of Germany's Phoenix Group, said it has signed two drug supply contracts worth 9.9 million levs ($5.6 million/5.1 million euro) in total with two local hospitals.
The larger contract, worth 6.3 million levs, was signed with Sofia-based ISUL hospital, while the other deal, worth 3.6 million levs, was signed with Burgas-based Full-service Oncology Centre, according to public procurement agency data published on Monday.
The deal with Full-service Oncology Centre was signed on November 21, while the other contract was inked on December 2.
Ten companies submitted bids in the procedure for awarding the larger contract, while the other procedure attracted twelve bids.
Besides wholesale, Phoenix Pharma's activities also include pre-wholesale, as well as development of pharmacy software. The company has four distribution centres in Bulgaria - in the cities of Sofia, Plovdiv, Burgas and Veliko Tarnovo.
