July 23 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian drug trader Phoenix Pharma, part of Germany's Phoenix Group, has signed a 4.5 million levs ($2.6 million/2.3 million euro) contract with local Complex Oncology Center for supply of pharmaceuticals, the Stara Zagora-based hospital said.
The deal was signed on June 19, the municipally-owned hospital said in a notice last week.
Complex Oncology Center received 13 offers in the procedure for awarding the contract.
Besides wholesale, Phoenix Pharma's activities also include pre-wholesale, as well as development of pharmacy software. The company has four distribution centres in Bulgaria - in the cities of Sofia, Plovdiv, Burgas and Veliko Tarnovo.
