September 16 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian drug traders Phoenix Pharma and Medex signed two pharmaceuticals supply contracts worth a total of 2.1 million levs ($1.2 million/1.1 million euro) with Sofia-based St. Ivan Rilski hospital, the hospital said on Monday.
The hospital signed on September 5 a 1.41 million levs deal with Phoenix Pharma and a contract worth 666,800 levs with Medex, St. Ivan Rilski hospital said in a notice.
Besides wholesale, Phoenix Pharma's activities also include pre-wholesale, as well as development of pharmacy software. The company has four distribution centres in Bulgaria - in the cities of Sofia, Plovdiv, Burgas and Veliko Tarnovo.
Sofia-based Medex is an official distributor of products by global industry heavyweights Bayer, La Roche, Sanofi, Pfizer, Mundipharma, Merck, Nobel Pharma and others.
