January 14 (SeeNews) - Gradski transport-Pernik, the public transport company serving the Bulgarian town of Pernik, in the western part of the country, said on Friday that it opened a 5.15 million levs ($3.0 million/2.6 million euro) tender for the delivery of electric buses along with specialised additional equipment.
The project benefits from EU financing under operational programme Environment 2014-2020, the transport company said in a tender notice.
The tender envisages the delivery of five new electric single buses, five slow-charging stations, and one double fast-charging station, the tender notice read.
The deadline for submitting offers in the tender is February 17. Quality criteria will carry 60% weight in the overall ranking of the bids.
