SOFIA (Bulgaria), February 26 (SeeNews) – The Bulgarian municipality of Pernik plans to call a tender for a water cycle project, a notice in the EU's procurement journal indicated on Tuesday.
The project, with an indicative cost of 58.9 million levs ($39.4 million/30.1 million euro), would involve the modernization of the city’s wastewater treatment plant as well as upgrades of water supply and sewage mains, a prior information notice published in the Tenders Electronic Daily (TED) showed.
The project will be financed under the EU-funded operational program Environment.
The municipality of Pernik is located in western Bulgaria.
