November 28 (SeeNews) - The Bulgarian government said on Tuesday it has awarded local civil engineering company Patstroy Burgas a 35-year concession contract to quarry for building materials at the Belite Kamani site,
The site of the concession is located in the municipality of Suvorovo, in the country's northeast.
Under the terms of the contract, the company has to invest 2 million levs ($1.2 million/1 million euro) in the site, the government said in a statement following a weekly meeting.
The total revenue from concession fees is projected at 1.25 million levs, with half of the amount to go into Suvorovo's municipal budget.
