August 27 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian natural gas retailer Overgas said on Tuesday that it plans to expand its gas distribution system in Sofia by 33 km this year in order to increase the number of its clients by more than 3,000.
Year-to-date, the company has connected over 1,100 new clients to its distribution network in the Bulgarian capital, it said in a statement.
Sofia-based Overgas, founded in 1991, has 2,400 km of natural gas distribution pipelines serving over 250,000 households in the country, according to data published on its website. The company has invested over 320 million euro ($356 million) in the construction of distribution pipelines to date.
