September 30 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's state-owned National Railway Infrastructure Company (NRIC) said on Monday that it has signed a 3.6 million levs ($2.0 million/1.9 million euro) railway sections upgrade contract with Sofia-based Transportno Stroitelstvo I Vazstanovyavane (TSV).
The contract provides for various upgrades on two railway sections with a combined length of some 6.2 km, the state-owned company said in a notice.
The deal was signed on September 2.
The public procurement procedure for awarding the contract, which was launched in January, attracted four offers.
Earlier in September, NRIC signed a 4.5 million levs deal with TSV after selecting it as a winner in a tender for the upgrade of an 8-kilometre railway section.
