August 14 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's state-owned National Railway Infrastructure Company (NRIC) said it has awarded two equipment maintenance contracts worth 2.2 million levs ($1.3 million/1.1 million euro) combined to local company Alfalift.
The deals were signed on July 24, NRIC said in a notice on Thursday.
Both contracts envisage the maintenance of elevators, escalators and wheelchair stair lifts at several NRIC units in Sofia, Plovdiv and Gorna Oryahovitsa, within a three-year period.
The public procurement procedure for awarding the higher-priced contract, worth 1.2 million levs, has attracted bids from two candidates. Price carried 80% weight in the overall ranking of the offers.
Sofia-based Alfalift, founded in 2004, is specialised in the design and production of elevators, lift controllers, stair lifts and lift motors.
