December 22 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's state-owned National Railway Infrastructure Company (NRIC) said it has signed a 7.2 million levs ($4.2 million/3.7 million euro) contract for the delivery of electricity with CEZ Trade Bulgaria, following a public procurement tender.
CEZ Trade Bulgaria will be responsible for the supply of an estimated 39,200 MWh of power for the needs of the company's sites for a one-year period, NRIC said in a notice last week.
Five bidders submitted offers for the tender, which were ranked by price only.
The deal was signed on December 6.
CEZ Trade Bulgaria is part of Czech energy group CEZ.
