The deposits of Bulgaria's non-government sector went up by 10.1% in annual terms to 105.2 billion levs ($57.5 billion/53.8 billion euro) at the end of April, the central bank said.
In April, the value of deposits was equivalent to 71.6% of Bulgaria's projected 2022 gross domestic product, the Bulgarian National Bank said in a statement on Wednesday.
Household deposits increased by 6.5% in the fourth month of 2022, reaching 67.6 billion levs.
The deposits of non-financial corporations totalled some 33.55 billion levs at the end of April, up by an annual 15.4%, while deposits of financial corporations jumped 32.1% to 4.03 billion levs.
