January 16 (SeeNews) - New passenger car registrations in Bulgaria increased by an annual 3.0% to 35,371 last year, the European Automobile Manufacturers Association, ACEA, said on Thursday, citing provisional figures.
In December alone, registrations of new passenger cars in Bulgaria rose by 11.8% year-on-year to 2,860, ACEA said in a press release.

New passenger car registrations in the EU, excluding Malta, grew 1.2% to 15.3 million last year, according to ACEA.
In EU12, which encompasses member states that have joined the EU since 2004, new passenger car registrations rose 6.2% to some 1.5 million in 2019.
In 2018, Bulgaria's new passenger car registrations increased by 9.9% to 34,332.
