April 14 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian telecommunications company Neterra said on Wednesday that it broke ground for its second data centre in the Bulgarian capital Sofia.
The new data centre will have a total area of over 1,4000 square metres and 2 MW of installed capacity, Neterra said in a statement.
The data centre, which will be located right next to the company's other data centre in Sofia, is designed to meet the TIER III requirements.
Once completed, Neterra will have a total of four data centres in the country - two in Sofia, one in the village of Stolnik, and one in the city of Ruse.
Neterra posted a net profit of 216,000 levs ($132,000/110,000 euro) on revenue of 19.7 million levs in 2019, according to its most recent annual financial statement.
