June 7 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian fertilisers maker Neochim [BUL:NEOH] said on Wednesday that it has begun a planned annual maintenance of its production facilities.
Neochim kicked off the annual upgrade without resuming production at its ammonium nitrate, nitric acid and electricity generation units after an earlier technical glitch led to the halt of ammonia production as well, the company said in a bourse filing.
Neochim's production operations at the first three units have been halted since the start of May, whereas the ammonia production unit has been out of operation since mid-April.
Shares in Neochim closed 2.03% lower at 38.70 levs ($21.18/19.78 euro) on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange on Wednesday.
