January 16 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian fertiliser producer Neochim [BUL:NEOH] said on Monday that it has suspended production at its ammonium nitrate and nitric acid units as a result of the recent emergency shutdown of the ammonia manufacturing unit.
The resumption of production depends on solving the technical issue at the ammonia plant, the company said in a bourse filing.
Neochim halted operations at the ammonia unit last week, citing a risk to the technological process at the feed-in of liquid ammonia in isothermal storage. Most recently, the firm fixed a technical problem in the ammonia unit in November.
As at CET 1336 on Monday, shares in Neochim traded 0.99% lower at 40 levs on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange.
