February 22 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian fertiliser producer Neochim [BUL:NEOH] said on Wednesday that it has resumed operations at its ammonia manufacturing unit.
Operations were restarted after the company solved technical issues reported on January 10 and January 23, Neochim said in a bourse filing.
The company halted ammonia production on January 9 due to a deterioration of regulated indicators and a risk to the technological process at the feed-in of liquid ammonia in isothermal storage. While working to eliminate the established problems, Neochim identified later in the month a new issue in another part of the facility.
As at CET 1210 on Wednesday, shares in the company traded 0.98% higher at 41.20 levs on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange.
Although Neochim faced a number of manufacturing disruptions in the past months, the company's standalone net profit surged to 79.7 million levs ($43.3 million/40.75 million euro) in 2022 from from 47.7 million levs in 2021.
