March 27 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian fertiliser producer Neochim [BUL:NEOH] said that it has resumed operations at its nitric acid manufacturing unit and two related units.
Regular operations were restarted after the company resolved technical issues reported in the early hours of March 24, Neochim said in a bourse filing after close of trading on Friday.
The technical glitch halted production at Neochim's its nitric acid unit, leading to the suspension of operations at the ammonium nitrate and turbo-generator station units.
Neochim, a constituent of Bulgaria's blue-chip SOFIX stock index, has faced a number of manufacturing disruptions in the past few months, most recently shutting down its ammonia manufacturing unit for about a month as a result of technical issues reported in January.
Shares in Neochim have dropped in value by 17% over the past 12 months, Bulgarian Stock Exchange data showed. The company's stock closed flat at 38.20 levs ($21.00/19.53 euro) on Friday, near the 12-month low of 37.00 levs recorded in October last year.
