February 2 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's state-owned National Electricity Company, NEK, said it has opened a 3.8 million levs ($2.4 million/1.9 million euro) tender for the supply and installation of hydro power plant (HPP) control systems.
The tender envisages the supply of control systems for HPP Batak, HPP Peshtera and HPP Aleko, all located in southwestern Bulgaria, NEK said in a tender notice, published on the website of the Public Procurement Agency.

The deadline for submitting offers is March 5.
Bids will be ranked solely based on price.
Earlier this month, NEK opened a tender for the rehabilitation of pumped-storage hydro power plant Chaira.
