SOFIA (Bulgaria), November 29 (SeeNews) – Bulgarian car battery maker MonBat said on Monday its scrap metal recycling unit Monbat Recycling will acquire the company’s two units in Serbia and Romania for around 6.1 million euro ($8.1 million).
MonBat Recycling will buy Serbia-based MonBat DOO for 2.36 million euro and Romania-based MonBat Recycling SRL for 3.75 million euro, MonBat said in a statement to the Bulgarian Stock Exchange.

MonBat is majority-owned by Bulgarian lubricants producer Prista Oil.
MonBat, a component of the benchmark SOFIX index on the bourse in Sofia, closed 0.16% lower at 6.4 levs in a volume of 2,018 shares on Monday. The statement was released after the end of trading hours.
