August 28 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian car battery manufacturer MonBat [BUL:5MB] said its consolidated pre-tax profit grew by an annual 13% to 18.7 million levs ($10.2 million/8.7 million euro) in the first seven months of 2017.
The company's consolidated earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) added 18.5% year-on-year to 28.5 million levs in the January-July period, MonBat said in a bourse filing late on Friday.

Consolidated net sales revenue increased by an annual 32.3% to 173.8 million levs in the review period.
In July alone, MonBat’s pre-tax profit fell 34.1% year-on-year to 1.6 million levs, while consolidated net sales revenue rose 21.4% to 22.9 million levs.
MonBat operates four plants for manufacturing and recycling of lead-acid batteries, diodes and light-emitting diode luminaires.
