August 26 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian battery manufacturer Monbat [BUL:MONB] said that its consolidated pre-tax profit from ongoing operations increased by an annual 101.2% in the first seven months of 2021, reaching 14.45 million levs ($8.7 million/7.4 million euro).
Consolidated net sales revenue rose 25% on the year to 202.1 million levs in the seven months through July, the company said in a bourse filing on Wednesday.

Monbat’s consolidated earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) went up 32.5% year-on-year to 28.5 million levs in the review period.
In July alone, Monbat's consolidated profit before taxes from ongoing operations rose by an annual 17.6% to 928,000 levs. Sales fell by 7.5% to 25.8 million levs.
