SOFIA (Bulgaira), January 12 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian telecommunications company Mobiltel, part of Telekom Austria Group, said on Thursday it will launch three TV channels, which will cover major sports events.
This step reflects the company’s ambition to be in line with the global trends in the development of telecommunications services, Simeon Donev, chief marketing director of Mobiltel, said in a statement published on the corporate website.
The first of the three HD channels – Mtel Sport 1, will be launched on January 14, while the other two – Mtel Sport 2 and EDGEsport, will be launched on March 1.
The channels will broadcast three football championships – the Dutch Eredivisie, the Russian Premier League and the Chinese Super League, along with the U.S. and Canada’s National Hockey League (NHL), Moto GP, World Series of Fighting (WSOF), Fight Nights Global, UFC and others.
