SOFIA (Bulgaria), October 24 (SeeNews) – Bulgarian coal mining complex Mini Maritsa Iztok has awarded a 2.8 million lev ($1.8 million/1.4 million euro) deal for supply of occupational clothing to local company Technomat Mercury, a notice in the EU’s procurement journal indicated on Friday.
Four bids were submitted in the tender, the notice published in the Tenders Electronic Daily (TED) showed.
The value of the deal does not include value added tax.
State-owned Mini Maritsa Iztok operates the largest lignite field in Bulgaria, providing feedstock for three thermal power plants in the area and a coal briquette factory. It is a fully-owned subsidiary of state-operated Bulgarian Energy Holding (BEH).
